~ WW2 Era German Anschluss Commemorative Medal, Dated 1938 ~
The medal was based on the 1938 Party Day Badge and designed by Professor Richard Klein.
On the obverse of the medal a man holding the Nazi flag (standing on a dais bearing the Nazi Germany Reichsadler) assisting a second man, who has a broken shackle in his right hand. The reverse bears the inscription "13. März 1938" (March 13, 1938), the date of the Anschluss; the date is surrounded by the words, "Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Führer" ("One People, One Empire, One Leader").
The Anschluss Commemorative Medal was a decoration of Nazi Germany awarded in the interwar period. It was awarded to all German military personnel who participated in the march to Austria, members of the Austrian branch of the NSDAP and other Austrians who contribute to the Anschluss (the occupation and annexation of Austria into Nazi Germany in 1938.).

The medal has a diameter of 1.3 inches (3.2 cm) and weighs 16 g.
