~ A new specification deactivated 1943 Waffenwerke Brunn DOT manufactured MG34T general purpose tank machine gun ~
These weapons have a heavy protected barrel for use when mounted on a Panzer. They could also be used dismounted for crew close protection if the tank was knocked out. The bipod was stored separately in the tank and was not designed to be held in a clipped down position.
The MG34 comes with its deactivation certificate dated 15/12/2009.
On the barrel sleeve, behind the rear sight it is stamped with its makers mark "DOT" (Waffenwerke Brunn's wartime code), "1943" and the serial number "8341a". The MG34 has matching numbers, except for the stock and bolt. The receiver is stamped "BPR 8341a" with the serial number also stamped just before the butt.
~ Dimensions ~
The MG34T has a length of 47 inches (119cm), with the barrel measuring 25 inches (63cm) long. It weighs 12.76kg.
~ Condition ~
The MG34 is in decent condition, There is some very minor wear, such as a few scratches, to the metal work as expected from a gun of its age the metal remains clean. The stock is worn with a large amount of scuffing and scratching wear, but no major areas of damage or dents. The left hand grip has a large chip/depression but with most of the material remaining. It can be cocked and dry fired.
