~ WW2 Russian New Spec 1943 Mosin-Nagant Sniper Rifle ~
This rifle has numerous stamps and 90 % matching serial numbers.
The serial number "KK6758" is stamped or manually etched on every major part of the weapon: barrel, cartridge chamber and magazine, stock, bolt. On top of the chamber can be also found the production year "1943", the Soviet logo, different proof marks and the factory stamps.
The wooden body is also stamped in many places.
The calibre of the rifle is 7.62x54R.
The stock metal plate is stamped with 'g58479'.
The wood color is a dark-brown, specially chosen for the sniper rifle.
The scope is stamped on the top with the USSR logo serial "4436549" and a proof mark. The same serial number along with serial 'TA850' are manually etched on the scope's metal frame.
The gun can be cocked & dry fired.
The rifle comes with its deactivation certificate, dated 30 Jul 2013.
~ Dimensions ~
The barrel has a length of 28 inches (71cm), with the gun having an overall length of 49 inches (124.5cm).
It weighs 4.7kg.
~ Condition ~
The rifle is in excellent condition for its age and usage. Except for some wear on the wood including a scarfed repair behind the bolt, it is in fine order.
The scope is in excellent condition and working order; the optics are clear and focus extremely well.
The metalwork remains in good condition.
