WW2 / WW1 GERMAN STAGHORN DRESS DAGGER PROBABLY GERMAN HUNTING ASSOCIATION / ALSO USED IN WW1 WW2 AS A TRENCH KNIFE
Overall good/ very good condition.
Please refer to the excellent book "German Combat Knives 1914 -1945" by Mery which illustrates pages of exactly the same type of knife being used by the military in WW1 and WW2.
Plain polished steel blade with a length about 16.5 cm with a dagger overall length about 28.5 cm.
The dagger has a nice large recurving tapering staghorn grip widening towards the pommel.
Six sided and bar and ball steel guard and brass decorated fillial and pommel mounts.
Brass mounted leather scabbard is in good condition.
