Description

**This Firearm is deactivated to one of the pre- 2nd May 2017, UK specifications. We can arrange for this firearm to be brought up to the latest UK/EU specification (customers can purchase on our lay-away scheme. The weapon will then be brought up to the EU specification and the relevant certificate obtained prior to the transfer of ownership and delivery)***The FÉG 37M is a Hungarian semi-automatic pistol based on a design by Rudolf Frommer. They saw German service during World War II and were known as Pistole 37(u), pistole M 37 Kal. 7,65 mm or P37. The main difference between this and the other variants is that the "German" version had a manual safety (which the Hungarian issue did not have) and was marked "Pistole M 37 Kal. 7.65" and the FEG code "jhv" and date, along with the Waffenamt markings. These pistols were produced in Hungary for the Nazi war effort whilst under occupation. Only 42,000 were assigned this code and accepted by the German army. This German issue example of the Model 37, 7.65mm Calibre Semi auto pistol is in excellent condition with original finish. It has matching numbers 10444 including the magazine, the magazine is also marked P.Mod 37. The pistol has the correct Nazi acceptance stamp, Model and calibre designations, Nazi FEG code ‘jhv’ and date 41 1941). Its ribbed wood grips are undamaged. It has the correct safety catch found on German issue variants and swivelling military lanyard ring. Deactivated to UK specification in 2011 the pistol cocks and dry fires, the slide locks back and the magazine can be removed. The pistol is accompanied by its original correct brown leather & canvas 1st issue holster used by the DAK / Afrika Korps. The holster is impressed by the German manufacturer Gustav Reinhardt Berlin and dated 1941. Internally it has model and calibre designation ink stamped. All stitching and leather of the holster are clean and intact. The price for this rare Nazi marked Luftwaffe pistol with DAK holster both in superb condition includes UK delivery and deactivation certificate. Sn 18783:8
