Description

These rare pistols were manufactured in WW2 by Germany in occupied Sudetenland. Approximately 46,400 CZ27's where produced under German occupation with the majority issued to the Army, Luftwaffe and Waffen-SS. This example of the Model 27, 7.65mm Calibre Semi auto pistol is in excellent condition with original finish. It has a 4" barrel and measures 6 ½” overall. It is crisply stamped on top of its slide 'Boehmische Waffenfabrik, A.G. IN Prague' and has Nazi Heer / Army acceptance stamp. The left side of the slide is stamped 'Pistole Modell 27 Kal 7.65'. It is Waffenamt on the right side of its frame together with serial number '249044'. Its brown bakelite one piece wrap around grip is in similar excellent undamaged condition. The grip has chequered panels and embossed ‘CZ’ roundels. The pistol is complete with original removable magazine and spare magazine both marked 'Mod.27'. Deactivated to UK specification in 2015 the pistol cocks and dry fires, the slide locks back and the magazines can be inserted and removed. The pistol is accompanied by its original correct period leather holster. It has a single retaining strap with eyelet on the flap which fastens to a single steel stud on the front of the holster. The front aspect of the holster's body has a single open top magazine carrier, the top of which is covered when the flap is closed. The rear of the holster has a single broad belt loop. There are no visible date or manufacturer marks on the holster. All stitching and leather of the holster is clean and intact. Currently the pistol strips, cocks and dry fires. The price includes deactivation certificate and UK delivery**we can arrange for this firearm to be brought up to the latest UK/EU specification for UK customers (customers can purchase on our lay-away scheme.
