This original WW1 British Mounted Infantry ammunition bandolier has the correct 9 individual ammunition carrier pouches with full flap covers capable of carrying 90 x .303 calibre rounds in total (10 in each pouch). Each carrier has heavy rivets and stitching together with a single brass stud to secure the flap covers. The bandolier is fitted with its original heavy duty brass buckle. The leather is impressed with indistinct marks and ‘2/7’ either February 1907 date or a Unit / Regiment number (illustrated in image 1). All rivets and stitching are present & intact.
