1928 Thompson smg Thompson 1928 .45 ACP Submachine Guns

Old spec 1928a1 Thompson strips and dry fires The serial numbers have been ground off This gun was sold to me as an ex IRA gun. It was apparently captured in Northern Ireland and consequently sold at a Government auction Purchased by Bapty, the film prop company Sold off eventually to Charnwood Ordnance who were a company selling a fantastic array of deact (some years ago).

The serial numbers of terrorist guns are always removed, as per this example There are newer numbers stamped on the gun, poss done by Bapty. It can be deduced that this is an AO example, not the normal Savage produced type. It strips down and dry fires. It has a weak return spring but all complete. It comes with butt, 20 shot magazine and deactivation certificate UK sales only £2100
