~ 19th Century Powder Flask ~
Here we have a very nice example of a black powder flask used during the 19th century.
It is an embossed copper powder flask with a clamshell design. There is a very basic spring catch on the lid.
There isn’t a maker’s mark but presumably this is a mass produced American piece (it is in a similar style to many American pieces) for a civilian firearm.
~ Dimensions ~
The flask is 5 inches (12.5 cm) long.
The flask is 2 inches (5 cm) wide.
The flask weighs 65 grams.
~ Condition ~
The flask is in good condition for its age and has been kept very well.
There is a nice aged look to the copper and a bit of oxidisation on the embossing.
~ Postage ~
UK postage is £10 or it can be collected from our Portsmouth shop.
