Description

~ A 19th Century Percussion Pistol Probably By Tomas Turner ~

This is a piece which seems to be the work of the gun manufacturer Tomas Turner.

The piece has been cleaned and polished over the years and any marks from the lockplate disappeared.

The barrel is proof marked with a pair of inspectors marks, of which one may be Turners. Also there is a pair of number '25' stamped close to the proof marks.

The barrel is rifled.

~ Dimensions ~

The barrel is 8 inches (20.4 cm) long and the overall length of the piece is 13 ½ inches(34.3 cm).

It weighs 1 Kg.

~ Conditions ~

The metalwork has age signs and darkening, as expected.

The rifling is still fairly good for the age.

The woodwork has some amount of cracks, as seen in the pictures.

~ Postage ~

UK postage is £35 or it can be collected in person from our shop.

For international postage please contact us via the messaging service and we will post tracked at cost.
