The kukri knife has a dark wooden handle. The wooden handle has multiple circle lined patterns etched into the grip.
The kukri comes with a brass tang and hilt.
The Kukri (or khukuri) is a heavy, curved knife used as both tool and weapon. It is also a part of the regimental weaponry and heraldry of Gurkha Brigade.
The sheath hold two smaller knives, the karda and the chakmak (the karda is for skinning. The charmak is used to sharpen the blade and it can also be used to start a fire with flint).
~ Dimensions ~
The blade on the khukri measures 13 inches (33 cm) long with the knife measuring 18 inches (44.6 cm) long total, 18.5 inches (47 cm) whilst in its scabbard.
The smallest knife has a blade length of 3.5 inches (9 cm) & an overall length of 4.5 inches (12 cm).
The second knife has a blade length of 4.2 inches (11 cm) & an overall length of 7 inches (18 cm).
The set weighs 675 g.
~ Condition ~
The main khukri blade has one spot of surface rust but is otherwise free of rust.
All the blades show signs of pitting but the two small knives are free of rust.
