The barrel bears a War department inspector’s mark and an Enfield inspectors mark.

The lock plate remains unmarked.

The brass stock butt plate is stamped with Nepalese characters and the wooden stock bears a number of arsenal marks which were stamped, deleted and re-stamped again.
