Description

A fine example of a regulation pattern naval officers dress sword. Dish guard with crowned anchor to the cartouche, lion head pommel and fishskin grip with wire binding. Housed in its leather and brass mounted scabbard. Blade remains in very good condition and has regulation pattern etched decoration of royal arms, crown, anchor and foliage etc, also Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, and serial No 45929.

~ Condition ~

A series of small nicks to the blade, but no pitting. The grip, pommel, and guard are in very good condition.

The scabbard is slightly worn on the leather but in good overall condition.
