Circa 1790-1800. The side plates engraved with the maker's name Spencer on one side and London on the other side. The screw-off barrels are each engraved at the breech with the number 2 and 3. Plain flat sided walnut grips, drop down trigger and the breech stamped with British proof marks and a padlock mark. In good condition and working order. Overall length 6.5 inches. A nice example of the type of double barrelled pistol carried for personal protection at the end of the 18th century. Ref 1606. This is an obsolete antique pistol and is sold as a collectors item only. No Licence is required in the United Kingdom.
