John Prosser had a workshop at 9 Charring Cross, London circa 1797-1813. The 9 inch barrel still faintly engraved on top "Charring Cross London". The lock plate fitted with sliding safety and engraved with the gunmaker's name J. Prosser. The butt cap engraved with the letters JRS probably the original owners initials. The trigger guard and the lock faintly engraved. Captive swivel steel ramrod. Heavily chequered grip. Action in good working order. In reasonably good overall condition with some signs of genuine wear and use. Ref 9999. This is an obsolete antique pistol and is sold as a collectors item only.
