Description

Largest selection of genuine antique weapons for sale in UK. See our website andrewbottomley.com. Ref 1260. A scarce LONDON - BRISTOL coaching flintlock pistol by J. Harding. Circa 1810. These pistols made by J Harding are known to have been carried on Mail Coaches and by Police / revenue services through most of the 19th century. This particular example, engraved London & Bristol on the barrel, was most likely carried on board a Mail Coach. The lock-plate is engraved with the makers name J. Harding. Brass trigger guard, side plate and ramrod pipes. Wooden ramrod. Overall length 14 inches. Some restoration otherwise in good working condition. A small old repair to the wood above the lock plate, otherwise in reasonably good condition. This price is much less than it would be normally to take into account the old repair to the wood above the lock-plate. Ref 1260. This is an obsolete antique pistol and is sold as a collectors item only. No Licence is required in the United Kingdom. If you wish to purchase this item please visit our website andrewbottomley.com where you can pay by credit/debit card or bank transfer at no extra charge. Established 1968.
