Circa 1846-50. The gunmaker's name Stanton & Son Chester engraved on the 4 inch octagonal barrel. Scroll engraving to the the lock-plate and the hammer. Nicely chequered walnut grip with an oval silver escutcheon fitted to the rear. Overall length 9 inches. Action in good working order. In good overall condition retaining traces of original finish and showing very little sign of use or wear. Ref 1271. This is an obsolete antique pistol and is sold as a collectors item only.
