A Superb 19th century Indian silver mounted Shamshir sword with a very unusual armourer's mark to the blade. Silver mounted fluted horn grip. Complete with its correct silver mounted scabbard. The scabbard leather in extremely good condition, with patterns of foliage. Blade length 32 inches. Overall length approx 38.5 Inches. One scabbard hanging ring missing, some minor damage to the grips, otherwise in very good condition. A very good sword. Ref 9826.
