A very good British Military percussion pistol manufactured by Lacy & co during the Napoleonic era. These famous pistols were mostly manufactured for service during the Napoleonic wars circa 1795 - 1815. This example is engraved on the lock-plate "LACY & Co". It would most probably have been converted to the newer percussion system sometime during its working military life around 1835-1850. Good condition. Fitted with its correct steel swivel ramrod. The hammer with a very old and quite interesting brazed repair, some wear but a nice honest untouched example. Barrel stamped with various British proof marks, barrel length 9 inches.
