Circa 1865. This small revolver was designed to be used for self defence in the last half of the 19th Century. Two piece chequered wooden grips, folding trigger and hinged drop-down loading gate. British proof marks on the cylinder. The frame engraved with decorative scrolling. Overall length 5 inches. In reasonably good condition and working order.
