~ Ancient Greek Circa 4th Century BC Arrow Head ~
This is a Greek arrow head dating back to 300 BC, probably found in the Iberian Peninsula.
These designs are specific to the celtiberian regions, being similar in design with the ones used by the Roman Republic some years later.
The old design the Greeks used was more conical shaped and required more time to be manufactured. This new pattern used a specially designed matrix which made it very easy to be cast.
This new design could be also fitted into its wooden tail with ease.
~ Dimensions ~
The length of the piece is 50 mm and its width is 14 mm.
It weighs 5.4 grams.
