An original, WWI dated Leather Holster for the Luger 9mm Parabellum Pistol (The Pistole Parabellum or Parabellum-Pistole (Pistol Parabellum), commonly known as just the Luger or Luger P08, is a toggle-locked recoil-operated semi-automatic pistol. The Luger was produced in several models and by several nations from 1898 to 1949. The design was first patented by Georg Luger. It was meant to be an improvement of the Borchardt C-93 pistol, and was initially produced as the Parabellum Automatic Pistol, Borchardt-Luger System by the German arms manufacturer Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken (DWM). The first production model was known as the Modell 1900 Parabellum). Made of thick brown Cow hide, the Holster has an integral leather pouch with stud fastener sewn into the inside of its lid, for a Luger pistol stripping tool which is present. The holster has a magazine pouch on its right aspect, which has an original magazine within. The flap cover of the holster is secured by a buckle which functions as it should. Below the lid of the holster to the rear is an impressed manufacturer mark; ‘BURSHARD PASING’ ‘1916’. The holster has two rear belt loops which are solid and intact.
