This is the N.C.O.'s pattern with a knot hook and a down swept quillon. It also has the rarer sight on the muzzle ring for use with the short rifle. It was made at the Steyr Arsenal and is faintly marked on the blade with "OE" over "WG". The other side of the blade carries the double headed eagle denoting Imperial use and not an export version. It has slab wood grips which are secured with two screw bolts. The blade is polished steel, single edged and fullered. It measures 9 1/2" long, 14" overall. The blade is in good condition. It is carried in its correct steel scabbard which has "FG GY" stamped on the frog stud denoting manufacture at Budapest in Hungary. The price includes UK delivery. Bayo 161
