This is an excellent pair of brass flintlock pocket pistols by Blake of London. The matching pistols have steel hammers fitted with flints, steel pans and sliding safety catches. The brass frames are both signed ‘Blake’ on one side and ‘London’ within Martial banners & arms on the reverse. Both measure 5 ½” overall & have 1 ¼” screw off brass barrels. The smooth bores of each barrel are clean. Both pistols have concealed folding triggers & crisp black powder proofs on the underside of their actions. They both have undamaged bag shape walnut stocks, each inlaid with void silver escutcheon. Their cocking & firing actions work perfectly. The price includes UK delivery. NB No licence is required to own these antique flintlock pistols in the UK if retained as part of a collection or display. Sn 16632
