The frame engraved with decorative scrolling. The underside of the barrel marked with 2 Birmingham proof marks. The grip fitted with an oval escutcheon to the rear. In good well used condition showing some minor signs of wear and use. Action in working order. Overall length approx 7.5 inches. This is the type of pocket pistol that was carried for personal protection during the mid 19th century. Ref 9363.
