MINT WW2 British WD 'Type C' RAF Fighter Pilot's Leather Helmet Wired With Comms. AE 555 - AE 555

An original near mint WW2 RAF Type C Fighter pilot's leather helmet wired with communication jack and headphones. The helmet is in near mint condition and does not appear to have been worn. It has a webbing chin strap with buckle & stud fastener. The chamois leather liner of the helmet has ink stamps ‘No.3 7 1/8- 7 3/8 (size) number 21849’ and ‘P??W 1’. The helmet is wired with leather padded ear cups in fine undamaged condition. The helmet has Bakelite ear pieces marked with unreadable red ink roundels and one is marked ‘REF No.10A/13466’. The cable has a bell shaped bakelite 'jack' marked '10H/735' and ‘REF No.10H/10991’. The leather of the helmet is stamped with WD arrow and ‘REF no.22c/872’. The helmet has adjustment straps with buckles and press stud fasteners. The Price includes UK delivery. AE 555
