BSF S54 Bayern .22 Air Rifles

A BSF Model S 54 ‘Bayern’ .22 Calibre Air Rifle manufactured by BSF ‘Bayerische Sportwaffenfabrik’ in Erlangen, Germany between 1948 and 1986. The serial number of this particular rifle is 63220 indicating that it was manufactured in 1963.

This rifle is in excellent condition having been subject to a complete strip down, professional hot blue and rebuild.

The blueing on the barrel and action is in excellent as new condition with the stamping’s all clear and readable.

The deluxe walnut stock is in excellent condition having also been refurbished to a very good standard with no splits or cracks and the checkering all good.

The rifle is complete with its original front and rear sights.

It cocks and fires with no issues as it has also been fully serviced a during its refurbishment.

A great example of a now very scarce air rifle.
