Crosman Model 122 CG .22 Air Rifles

A rare Crosman Model 122 “CG” CO2 powered .22 Calibre Air Rifle.

Manufactured by Crosman in the USA from 1946 -1949.

The rifle is powered by a bulk fill CO2 bottle which was originally from the US Navy and was used for inflating life rafts. After the WWII there was a surplus of these bottles and Crosman Corporation purchased a large number from the US Government converting the 102 model pump up rifles to CO2 and retailing them as the model 122. Some rifles have the bottles fitted to the rifle at 90 degrees and some at 47.5 degrees as this one is.

This rifle is fully functioning having undergone a very recent service and holds CO2 with no leaks. It is supplied with a charging adaptor to enable the screw in CO2 Bottle to be filled. It cocks and fires a .22 pellets with no issues.

This rifle is in very good original condition it is showing showing wear to the painted finish but considering its age its in in good order. The woodwork is also in good condition. It is complete with its correct peep type rear sight which is often missing.

Air guns and Air Rifles manufactured after 1939 are restricted by the Violent Crime Reduction Act as regards sale and delivery and as such the transaction must be on a face to face basis.
