1968-1976 Crosman USA M1 Carbine ( Realistic Replica Of The WW2 US Army M1 Carbine) Push Barrel Spring Powered .175 BB Calibre Air Rifle With 22 Shot Gravity Fed Magazine, Detachable Box Magazine (BB Storage Box) & Croswood Simulated Wood Stock. AI 672 - AI 672

The Crosman M1 Carbine BB gun is a faithful replica of WW2 US Army M1 Carbine. To cock the carbine, you grab the barrel and pull it back toward the receiver. Or, you can push the barrel back, but be careful not to put your hand in front of the muzzle when you do. BB’s are loaded in to the gun from a loading hole in the top of the carbine. What looks like a magazine is actually a detachable box reservoir for carrying 180 BBs. You have to remove them and load them into the gun or they’ll just be ballast for your gun. More than half the carbines now in existence have lost their magazines and an actual magazine is worth about as much as the gun, itself. The gun was made with a wooden stock during the first production year 1966-67, then Crosman introduced a plastic stock with realistic wood grain pattern. They called the material Croswood, and it went on to become their stock material of choice for many years. The gun has winged fore sight and rear peep sight similar in appearance to the Ww1 M1 carbine. Production of Crosman’s M1 ceased in 1976 ( see page 211 of 'The Blue Book Of Airguns' by Beeman & Allen ). This is an excellent example in fully working order, with original box and undamaged Croswood simulated wood stock. The gun measures 35 ½” overall length. The barrel has manufacturer and model detail (illustrated). The price includes UK delivery. NB as a post 1939 air weapon the restrictions of the Crime Reduction Act regarding sale and delivery of this item apply. AI 672
