DEACTIVATED INERT. 1 x unfired French 37mm (37 x 277R) naval rounds for the Modèle 1925 and Modèle 1933 37mm 37/50SA anti-aircraft gun used extensively by the French navy during World War 2 and before. The gun was a hand loaded, semi-automatic weapon which gave it a slow rate of fire. The later Modèle 1933 was a twin mounted gun which was also hand loaded. Both were hand-loaded, semi-automatic guns with a low rate of fire compared to its clip-fed contemporaries. The brass cartridge cases are headstamped 37-1925So Bx 16.5.27 (May 1927 date) and 37-1925So B 10.10.33 (October 1933 date). The solid armour piercing pointed projectiles have two copper driving bands. The price for a single round is £195.
