DEACTIVATED INERT British original WW2, 1940 dated unfired 2 Inch Practice (high explosive) mortar complete with its DUMMY No151 mk I nose fuse. The alloy fin is stamped 5FDLtd 1940 - 2 . The primer protector screw on cap has WDC 40 cast into it. The lacquered body retains most of its original lacquered finish, including its yellow (practice) band at the middle of its body. The alloy nose fuse is stamped DUMMY No151 I WDC 12/40. The alloy fuse protector is stamped REMOVE BEFORE FIRING. The body is stamped 2” MOR 1 MW 1040. The absence of the letter Z on any of the alloy components indicates that they are made of aluminium not zinc which was a later practice of manufacture. Price includes UK delivery. O 1230
