DEACTIVATED INERT. This is a very rare WW1 Russian Rdultovsky RG-12 Lantern Type Model 1912 hand grenade designed prior to the start of WW1. The stick hand grenade consisted of a tin plate and soldered sheet square metal body filled with explosive and a tin plate and soldered sheet metal body attached to a wooden handle with a slide off safety ring protecting the grip safety trigger assembly.
