DEACTIVATED INERT This a WW2 (1942 dated) German 15mm MK 151/20 (15x96) APT (Armour Piercing Tracer) aircraft cannon round fitted to various German aircraft during WW2. The lacquered steel cartridge case is percussion primed and retains about 60% its original finish. The headstamp is edq (Munitionsfabriken AG, Luebeck-Schlutup) 36a 42 Waffenampt 66 . The armour piercing tracer projectile has a copper driving band and retains some of its original black finish.
