DeactivatedSubmachine GunsUsed£ 2,400
British lend lease issue Thompson 1928A1, manufactured by Savage in approximately 1940/41.
Stamped TOMMY GUN on top of the receiver, has the British military broad arrow acceptance and inspectors stamp on the right-hand side of the receiver (only the very first the very first batches had this) It also has the British armorer's relocated sling swivel positions, this modification was most commonly done at the request of the British Commandos and the Airborne. Has the finned barrel and cutts compensator fitted and the early production Lymans adjustable flip up sights.
Has matching serial numbers to upper and lower sections, so the weapon is totally original and has always been together.
The metal work and finish are in excellent condition with no rust or pitting ! The all matching wood furniture is in very good condition showing some knocks and dings and signs of use, but overall the Thompson is a very nice example that has defiantly been there and seen action, and probably has a lot of history behind it. £2450
Manufactured by Quality HMC, Serial number 1648232 which dates it to April / May 1943. Fitted with a Rock-ola barrel. The parkerised finish is in very good all round condition.
Has all matching wood furniture which is in excellent condition. £1150
Both are currently the older / early spec deactivation, so due to the current UK law they can only be sold outside the EU as they are or they can be re-deactivated to the newer current spec. There will probably be a bit of a wait for this as the proof house is very busy at this moment in time !
