This is an excellent, original, Nazi German Luftwaffe Officer's 'Fliegerschwert' Sword And Scabbard. The Sword has the correct alloy fittings and has the correct Luftwaffe blue leather covering which is wire bound all intact and tight. The sword's clean double edged blade with part fullers is 28 ¾” long (36" overall) and is crisply stamped at the ricasso by the manufacturer ‘E&F Horster Solingen’ together with trademark & stylised Eagle Luftwaffe acceptance mark. The hilt is fitted with original leather washer. The sword has its original Luftwaffe blue leather bound scabbard in good order and fitted with original Luftwaffe blue leather 'Tab' belt hanger. The scabbard and hanger’s alloy mounts are undamaged. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 16889
