This is an excellent & original model 1884/98 (3rd Pattern) Nazi German Mauser bayonet for K98 rifles (see White & watts No.296 pages 115-133). It has a blackened 9 ½” long blade. The bayonet has undamaged grooved brown bakelite grips and is stamped on the ricasso by the maker, ‘E u F Horster’ (Solingen). The reverse is stamped number '1794'. The pommel is Waffenamt. There are no visible dates on the bayonet. It has its original steel scabbard numbered ’F19’ on the frog bar. The ball end of the scabbard is Waffenamt. The scabbard is undamaged with original black paint. The price includes UK delivery. BAYO 455
