This is a British 1907 pattern bayonet with a hooked quillon made at Enfield. The blade is marked to the with a feint crown over ER and a clear 1907 over 2 ’09 (February 1909 manufacture date) over EFD (Enfield). The other side of the blade carries a bread arrow over an inspection mark and a capital N. The pommel is regimentally stamped with R.M. over I (Royal Marines Infantry) and L7504. The scabbard is the Mk II pattern with all of its stitching intact. The bayonet is contained in its 1908 pattern webbing frog with strap for the helve carrier.
