A good English single barrelled Percussion pocket pistol with bag shaped grips, manufactured by W. MURDOCH and engraved with the makers name on the side plate. The frame of nickle silver, with an octagonal 2" screw-off barrel. Made around 1840- 1845. Stamped wit British proof marks to the frame and barrel. The frame fitted with a slding top safety. Some very minor scratches, otherwise the condition is very good. Overall length approx 6 inches. Ref 9565. This is an antique weapon and is sold as a collectors item only.
