Rare 17th century European dagger with typical cruciform blade measuring 225mm (overall 370mm). All steel crossguard and pommel with a beautifully turned and carved "barley twist" handle in solid ebony.
Overall excellent condition for age, hilt is tight and together. Comes with well fitting leather scabbard. £250+PP.
Mid 18th century officers naval fighting dirk. Compact size with a strong , 150mm blade(overall 280mm), exquisitely turned contrasting ebony handle and matching "beehive" pommel. Undamaged brass scabbard with frog button. Never seen another like it. £195+PP.
Mid 19th century Japanese tanto with finely engraved ox bone tsuka and saya with nothing missing or damaged, tight and together . Blade meaures 300mm (overall 420mm). Included, an attractive carved ebony display stand . £175+PP.
Interesting, mid 19th century Japanese "Ninja" type personal defence dagger/club. all steel and weighing in at almost 1/2 a kilo with a 235mm blade ( 335mm overall) and finished in laquered satin black which would have aided concealment of this dual use weapon. £120+pp.
