This is a very good Victorian era spear point bowie. The 12” long, bowie has stag horn scales secured by steel pins. It has a nickel silver finger guard and a 7 ¾” single edged, spear point steel blade, on one side it is marked crisply at the ricasso,' SD' and also has ‘Geo Fisher Sheffield’. The blade is undamaged and has staining consistent with age. Its original brown leather scabbard has a nickel silver throat mount with locket & chape with ball end. All leather & stitching of the scabbard are intact. The scabbard’s chape has several minor dents consistent with age and use. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 16148
