Description

This is a mid 19c Bandsmans sword with metal hilt and crossguard and a broad single edged blade. It measures 24” in length with a blade length of 19”. The ricasso carries a trademark of W & ST in an oval. This is the trademark of Weyersberg and Stamm who were active between 1817 & 1885. They made swords sabres and bayonets for several German states, especially Bavaria and also for Austria and Switzerland. The scabbard is steel mounted black leather with a circular frog stud on the top mount. The price includes U.K. delivery. ED 2565.
