A Haenel Model 310 4.4mm (lead ball) Calibre Air Rifle.
Manufactured in the former German Democratic Republic in Suhl circa 1960 -1989.
This is rifle fires 4.4mm lead ball using the 6 shot spring loaded magazine supplied which is fitted into the receiver underneath the fore-end. The rifle is cocked by pulling the rocking bolt lever backwards its then pushed forward into the locked position and fired in the conventional manner. The process is repeated to load another lead ball until the magazine is empty.
This rifle is in excellent condition with the blueing in very good order the stamping’s are sharp and clear we noticed the model designation stamping looks like ‘810’ but its definitely a model ‘310’ perhaps it was a faulty stamp in the factory.
The rear of the cylinder is stamped ‘HAENEL Made in GDR’ in front of the cocking lever its stamped ‘MODELL 810’ with the Suhl Trademark and the barrel is stamped ‘Kal.4.4mm’
The beech stock is in excellent condition and has ‘526419’ impressed into the right side which we presume is the serial number it has a few minor marks but generally in great order.
The rifle is fitted with its correct adjustable rear sight and front post sight with hood.
It cocks and fires with no issues.
A really good example of this German manufactured Air Rifle.
