Hamburger & Co, London Percussion Officers/duelling Pistols .65 Muzzleloader

A stunning, near mint, pair of 15 bore percussion officers/duelling pistols by the renowned Hamburger & Co of London, outfitters to Queen Victoria. Presented in a beautiful green velvet lined brass bound mahogany case with a full compliment of accessories. These pistols are in remarkable, possibly unused, condition. Retaining nearly all of their original finish. Beautiful charcoal blacked trigger guards, ramrod caps and captive ramrods. Original browned Damascus twist barrels. Fully case hardened actions and original lacquered, well figured walnut stocks. Internally the locks are like new, in fact, I suspect I am the first person to have ever removed them for inspection. A true time capsule from the 1830's!
