This is an original steel silencer for the Heckler & Koch MP5 sub-machine gun (The Heckler & Koch MP5 (German: Maschinenpistole 5) is a submachine gun developed in the 1960s by German firearms manufacturer Heckler & Koch. It uses a similar modular design to the Heckler & Koch G3. In 1980, the MP5 achieved an iconic status during the Iranian Embassy siege, when British Army Special Air Service operatives used MP5s with top-mounted flashlights to assault the embassy and rescue the hostages held inside.. The silencer is 30cm long with an outside diameter of 4cm. The silencer is made from steel tubing with a threaded portion which screws into the MP5’s barrel with four vents to one side.
