On Auction : Very rare fishing crossbow from the 1900s for surface fishing.Fishing crossbow made in the 1900s by Manufactures d'armes de St Etienne. It is in very good condition with its reel, braid and stretchers. It has two arrows, one with a fishing tip and one for shooting.The barrel is in very good condition and has a barely legible engraving on the top ‘Manufacture d'armes et cycles de St Etienne’. See photos. I’ve tried it and everything works. The arrow releases but there’s not much power, a lot less than at the time. The elastics should just need to be stretched a bit.
