INERT DEACTIVATED German WW2 3.7cm PAK 36 APC/HE/T (Armour Piercing Capped/ High Explosive/ Trace) round.. The unfired projectile has a copper driving band and retains much of its original paint consisting of a black projectile body with a white 7mm band above the driving band and a white nose tip with a red band underneath it. There are traces of red stencilling round the projectile body. The copper driving band is stamped with a C waffenampt 150 . The projectile is stencilled in red on the cap An.5.9.40 (5th September 1940). There is a base cavity for a base fuse with a tracer element. The base of the projectile is stamped 3.7 DL608 1940 (date) C . The brass cartridge case is headstamped 5 1938 (1938 ate) P (Polte Armaturen u. Maschinenfabrik AG, Magdeburg) 6331 (gun designation) waffenampt 406 . The brass screw in primer is stamped C/13nA 156.38 Rh.S.167 . See page 189 to 192, Hogg, German Artillery of World War Two.
