INERT DEACTIVATED. This is an Unfired British 18 pounder incendiary round. The projectile is stamped 18Pr XII RL (Royal Laboratories) 7 1 1?. The round is fitted with a No 80IVA time and percussion fuse and is marked V.S.M (Vickers, Son and Maxim) 636C 80 IVA 8/16 . The cartridge case is headstamped 18P II K (Kynoch) Nry 1915 CFF 4 and a crowfoot. The primer is stamped B.S.C. (Bethlehem Steel Company) 11/15 LOT 26.25 US (within a circle) No1 - II . This round has been professionally repainted in the correct colours and has the correct stencilling applied.
