A very rare Finnish Sirpalekranaatti M41/42 grenade.
The grenade has a cylindrical cast iron shell with vertical grooves
and screw top. It has a screw in brass fuse section with metal
cover and ring pull. It is complete with wire retainer.
The top part of the iron shell is marked with 'V' and '43'. There is another mark I cannot make out.
It is empty and inert.
~ Dimensions ~
The piece has a diameter of 4cm and a total height of 13cm.
It weighs 475g.
~ Condition ~
The main body has some pitting but the top parts are in great
condition.
The screw threads are all fine and the piece can be dismantled
into three main parts.
