19th Century Italian Form Hunting Knife / Dirk With Stag Antler Hilt, Pierced Blade & German Silver Fittings. Sn 18269 - 18269

This is an attractive 19th Century Hunting Knife / Dirk in Italian form. The 12” long knife has a solid Stag antler hilt with German Silver pommel cap ferrule and finger guard with re-curving tips. It has a 7 ¼” drop point blade. The blade is pierced at the forte with ‘bird atop urn’ scene and has a section of decorative scalloping to the back edge. The blade has just staining to be expected with age and the blade is very sharp. As is common with these knives it is without scabbard. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 18269
