RARE MAKER, Nazi Marked, Early WW2 1939 Dated German K98 Mauser Bayonet By Jos Corts, Solingen, 1944 Dated Scabbard By fnj (Alexander Coppel GmbH Alcoso, Solingen) & Leather Frog. BAYO 55 - BAYO 55

This is an excellent & original Nazi marked K98 rifle bayonet. It is dated '39' (1939) on the back of it's blued blade. The bayonet has original undamaged slab wood grips and is stamped on the ricasso by the rare maker, 'Jos Corts Sn (Solingen)'. The reverse is stamped number '2493a'. The pommel is Waffenamt. It has its original metal scabbard numbered at the throat '6174'. The scabbard is also marked 'fnj' which is the Nazi code for (Alexander Coppel GmbH Alcoso, Solingen) and dated '44' (1944). The ball end of the scabbard is also Waffenamt. The scabbard is fitted with a very good original rivetted, black leather frog with belt loop, retaining strap and single stud fastener. All stitching & leather of the frog is intact. The price for this nicely marked WW2 piece includes UK delivery. BAYO 55
